What will you do as a product developer at MOST WANTED:

You are not intimidated by being responsible for the MW collection. On the contrary, as a Product Developer, you are the one who takes the first sample to a high-quality final product. You are proactive, developing and working with on-trend fashion items makes your heart beat faster, and seeing the final product hanging in the (online) store is something that makes you happy.

Your mission: You are the bridge between creativity and realization. Your mission is to translate ideas from the design process into perfectly fitting, technically feasible, and quality products that suit Most Wanted and our customers.

How do you do that?

You prepare tech packs and provide clear specifications to suppliers.
You check, measure, and evaluate incoming samples and process feedback after fitting sessions.
You monitor product quality and perform inspections on incoming goods.
You maintain daily contact with producers and suppliers about progress, delivery times, and quality.
You negotiate with suppliers and make price agreements.
You plan and track sample deliveries, mock-ups, lab dips, trimmings, and test results.
You analyze and process wash and wear tests and oversee test reports and certificates.
You perform cost calculations and select materials with an eye for trend, quality, and budget.
You create size distributions for orders (SBD).
You handle all sales figures, return data, and performance per size to translate insights into improvements in collection development and inventory optimization.
You regularly visit suppliers domestically and abroad for good collaboration and to gain inspiration.

When is your input successful:

When items are produced on time, with quality, and commercially responsible.
When fits are consistent and meet customer expectations.
When processes run smoothly thanks to your oversight and coordination.
When suppliers know what is expected of them, and you effectively manage them.
When you act as a sparring partner for the design team, with attention to detail and feasibility.

Qualifications

Who we are looking for:
A driven and structured Product Developer with a passion for fashion and an eye for detail. You are a central figure connecting various departments and suppliers, and you feel at home in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment. Traveling to suppliers domestically and abroad is a major part of the role and gives you extra energy.

Good at planning, organizing, and monitoring deadlines
Technically knowledgeable with understanding of fit, materials, and production techniques
And of course, you are up to date with the latest fashion trends so you can quickly respond to trends.

Experience:

Completed HBO degree in Fashion/Product Development or equivalent
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within fashion
Experience working with tech packs and managing sample processes
Knowledge of production domestically and/or abroad is a plus
Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written
