Job Opening - Buyer

As a Buyer at MOST WANTED, you are responsible for purchasing, planning, and commercially managing (part of) our collection. You ensure that the right items, in the right quantities, are available at the right time and perform at their best.

You combine a sense of trends with data and make daily decisions based on sales figures, margins, stock, and timing. You continuously coordinate with suppliers, design, product development, and marketing.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• You create purchase orders, send them to suppliers, and correctly process orders in our system.
• You determine the right quantities per item, color, and size based on data, forecasts, and commercial opportunities.
• You ensure that all order administration, delivery information, and arrival dates are processed accurately and clearly.
• You negotiate with suppliers about prices, MOQs, delivery times, and terms.
• You monitor and check order confirmations, prices, delivery dates, and changes.
• You coordinate sample deliveries, bulk orders, and arrival dates.
• You oversee deliveries, transport, and arrivals and intervene immediately in case of delays or deviations.
• You analyze sales figures, stock, sell-through, margins, and return data.
• You liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and/or transport companies about shipments, transport, and delivery times.
• You identify bestsellers and slow movers and manage re-orders, additional orders, and markdowns.
• You work closely with design, product development, and marketing on assortment, focus items, and drops.
• You travel regularly within Europe and to Asia for supplier visits, sourcing, and purchasing appointments.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You are commercially strong, analytical, and have a keen sense of fashion and timing. You dare to make decisions, keep an overview, and know how to translate a sense of collection into results.

WHAT DO YOU BRING?

• At least 3-5 years of experience in a buying role within fashion.
• Strong commercial and numerical insight.
• Experience with collection planning, forecasting, and budget management.
• Understanding of KPIs such as sell-through, margin, stock turn, and return rates.
• You work quickly, structured, and independently.
• Good command of Dutch and English.
• Willingness to travel regularly within Europe and to Asia.
