We understand that finding the perfect-fitting jeans is essential for your comfort and outfit. That’s why we’ve included an explanation and general size chart on this page. In three steps, we’ll help you find the perfect size for our MW jeans.

Step 1

Jeans size chart: Waist and hips

Waist: Measure the circumference of your waist at the narrowest point of your waist.
Hips: Measure the circumference of your hips at the widest point of your hips.

Choose the size that matches your waist and hip measurements. If your waist falls into a different size than your hips, check the fit of the style: for wide-leg and barrel jeans, the waist measurement is the deciding factor; for tighter styles, the hips are also important.

Step 2

What length do I need?

The length measurement is the jeans' inseam length. The inseam length is the distance from your crotch to your ankle, measured along the inside of your leg. Measure barefoot or while wearing the shoes you wear most often. You can also measure the inseam of a pair of jeans that fits well.

With certain styles, such as Barrel Leg Jeans and Baggy Jeans, the rise is lower. Since the inseam length is measured from the crotch, these jeans will also fit longer.

BARREL LEG JEANS

Stretch: No

Waist: High rise

Leg: Barrel, wider from the hip, subtly curves outward and tapers at the ankles

Length sizes: 28 - 30 - 32 - 34 - 36

This style fits roomier and longer. If you are between 2 sizes, we recommend ordering the smaller size and, if necessary, a shorter length.

COMFORT WIDE LEG JEANS

Stretch: Yes

Waist: High rise

Leg: Wide, straight fit

Inseam lengths: 30 - 32 - 34 - 36

This style has a loose fit. If you're between two sizes, go for the smaller size.

BAGGY JEANS

Stretch: No

Waist: High rise, with a drawstring at the waist

Leg: Wide

Inseam lengths: 30 - 32 - 34 - 36

This style has a roomier and longer fit. If you are between two sizes, we recommend ordering the smaller size and, if necessary, one inseam length shorter.

BOOTCUT JEANS

Stretch: Yes

Size: High rise

Leg: Bootcut, fitted to the knee, slightly flared

Length sizes: 30 - 32 - 34 - 36

WIDE LEG JEANS

Stretch: No

Waist: Mid rise

Leg: Wide leg

Length sizes: 30 - 32 - 34 - 36

This style has a loose fit. If you're between two sizes, choose the smaller size.

Frequently asked questions about our jeans

What does a size like S/30 mean?

S: In this case, S stands for small. This is the size that indicates the waist and hip measurements. You will also find this size on other items in our webshop.
30: In this case, "30" stands for length size 30. This length size always has an inseam (inside leg length) of 76cm.

Do Most Wanted jeans fit true to size, or do they run smaller/larger?

Can the sizes vary by jeans style?

Yes, the fit and sizing may vary from one jeans style to another. For example, skinny jeans fit more tightly than a wide-leg style. That’s why we provide personalized size advice for every pair of jeans on our website. This way, you’ll know exactly whether to stick with your usual size or choose one size up or down.

What should I do if I’m between two sizes?

Are you unsure between two sizes? Then take a close look at the material of the jeans.

Does the jeans have stretch? Then you can usually choose the smaller size.
Is it a sturdy denim without stretch? Then you’ll often be better off with the larger size.

What is the best way to wash my jeans?

Wash your jeans at a maximum of 30 °C and inside out. This will help preserve the color and fit for as long as possible. Air-dry your jeans and avoid the dryer, as heat can cause shrinkage.

Tip: the less often you wash your jeans, the better they will retain their shape and the longer they will stay looking good. On jeans with a vintage look, the color may fade with washing. Want to preserve the vintage look for as long as possible? Wash your jeans as infrequently as possible and only when truly necessary.
