At Most Wanted, we are looking for a Technical Fashion Designer who is responsible for the technical development of our collections and setting up clear and complete product documentation for our suppliers.
POSITION
As a Technical Fashion Designer, you ensure that designs are fully production-ready. You translate designs into technical stylesheets, clear working drawings, and complete tech packs so that suppliers know exactly how an item should be produced.
You work closely with the design team, but your focus is on technical development, materials, and production.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Set up technical stylesheets and tech packs for suppliers
• Create flat working drawings (technical flats) in Adobe Illustrator
• Translate designs into clear production instructions
• Select and evaluate fabrics and materials together with the head of design
• Check samples and fits together with the production/design team
• Monitor product quality and technical details
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• 2–4 years of experience as a Technical Designer / Technical Stylist / Product Developer
• Strong knowledge of garment construction and fit
• Good knowledge of fabrics, materials, and trims
• Very skilled in Adobe Illustrator (technical flats)
• Experience with tech packs and production processes
• Accurate, structured, and detail-oriented
• HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level
• A strong portfolio with technical working drawings
